• What languages are available? (Currently only English but other languages will be coming)
• Does it work with Maya LT as well? (Yes HMC Voice Command works with regular full version of Maya and with Maya LT. There are also versions of HMC Voice Command that work with 3DCoat and ZBrush.)
• What is the price? ($15 USD for one year subscription. $50 USD for perpetual license per version.)
• Which versions of Maya does HMC Voice Command work with? (Maya 8.0 thru Maya 2018 though earlier versions could work but not tested. Contact customer support if your Maya is older than 8.0)
• I bought HMC Voice Command for Maya 2015 will it work for Maya 2016? (No. Each version of HMC Voice Command you purchase is for a specific version and year of Maya. )
• Do I have to use a headset? (No. Clip on microphones work very well. Desk top microphones can work but need to be either unidirectional or used in a quiet environment. Headsets with noise canceling technology can be used in nosier environments with great success.)
• Will I lose all my current hotkeys? (You might lose one hotkey combo. You can still use all your other hotkeys.)
• Can I use my voice to activate my own mel scripts or other peoples scripts? (Yes. You can have up to 22 custom mel scripts or other people mel scripts triggered by your voice using HMC Voice Command.)
• How many computers am I allowed to put my copy of HMC Voice Command on? (You may install HMC Voice Command on any computer you personally own for your own use. However if you have employees that are going to be using HMC Voice Command you may let up to three employees use your copy but only on computers you personally own. For more than three an additional copy per employee must be bought.)
• Both myself and my kid or spouse use Maya, do I have to purchase a separate copy or copies for them? (Of course not. We are not heartless or that greedy. Just know you the purchaser are responsible and will be held accountable for any illegal distribution of our products.)
